 PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Apex Engineering's staffing capacity enables us to undertake challenging, large-scale projects, while concurrently giving small projects close individualized attention. 

 

A project manager (PM) is assigned on a project-by-project basis.  The assigned PM is the individual whose knowledge and expertise most closely matches the project requirements and goals. The key element to successful project completion is maintaining communication with our clients. The PM serves as the primary point of contact and provides a liaison between the client, public agencies, subcontractors and others. Additional PM responsibilities include: analyzing project, mitigating unforeseen conflicts, monitoring progress, providing budget controls, providing quality controls, scheduling and budgeting, supervising project staff, subconsultants and utility coordination.

 Company Management

Mr. Tony Ching, P.E.,  Principal

Mr. Ching has over 16 years of business and project management experience, providing Clients with cost efficient engineering designs and maintaining effective communication with public agencies and the construction community through to project completion.  

 
     

Mr. James Kirkebo, Principal

 

Mr. Kirkebo has quickly established himself as a land use planner knowledgeable of current regulations, ordinances and regulatory changes while representing project applications at public meetings, legislative bodies and Hearing Examiners.

 

Mr. Jeff Mann, Principal

Mr. Mann has 25 years experience as a land use planner with responsibility for environmental, land use planning and permit processing for residential developments, master plan communities and commercial projects.

 
     

Mr. Geoff Sherwin, P.E.,  Principal

Mr. Sherwin has over 15 years experience in land surveying and civil engineering design, specializing in storm drainage, roadways, grading and erosion control designs for commercial and residential developments.

 
     

Mr. Ken Swindaman, Principal

Mr. Swindaman has over 18 years of experience in all aspects of land, route, control, design and construction surveying. Ken's responsibilities include supervising in-house and field personnel, meeting budget and schedule requirements, providing quality control of all production work and providing project management for all major survey projects.
