Accounting/HR Manager

The following are qualifications and skills required for the ideal candidate:

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience working for a project-based service firm (construction, architectural or engineering industry) preferred.
  • Experience and proficiency working with Deltek Vantagepoint software preferred.
  • Experience with Quickbooks and NNN reconciliation helpful, but not required.
  • Experience with WSDOT overhead rate audit procedures a plus.
  • Strong functional experience working with numbers, Excel spreadsheets, auditing and reconciling information.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi task and meet deadlines.
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, discretion and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Detail oriented with excellent follow through.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be motivated and possess the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to get along and work well with others.
  • Must be able to pass a thorough background test.

Summary of Accounting Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Project Maintenance and Setup
  • Monthly Billing & Invoicing
  • Payroll
  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Monthly Reporting
  • Yearly Reporting
  • Assist with job postings and interviews as needed.

Summary of HR Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process new hire paperwork, including E-Verify reporting, setting employees up in Deltek and ADP.
  • Enroll employees in medical, dental, vision and life insurance programs.
  • Enroll employees in 401k.
  • Update all employee records as needed for payroll and/or benefit changes.
